How it works
All you need is the phone in your pocket.
LOWKEY learns your usual from signals your phone already collects. Nothing to log, no wearable. When something shifts, you hear first.
LOWKEY sends the signal. You decide what it means.

Your usual rhythm
LOWKEY is your mirror.
No population comparisons. Just you compared to you, by place and season, because a Tuesday in October looks different from a Tuesday in May.
It uses what’s already there
Apple’s Health app, up to two places you choose, phone use, and most devices synced to the Health app. No logging, no daily tap, no wearable needed.
It learns your range
Not one number, but a usual range built from your own history.
It tells you when something shifts
One hard night isn’t a pattern. A change that keeps going is, and you hear about it first.
5 categories. 40+ metrics. Infinite insights. Only one you.
- Evening Routine
- Heart & Recovery
- Home & Away
- Movement
- Phone use
When something changes
What happens next.
You always see it first, so you decide what happens next, with an optional safety net of the people you choose.
- Heads UpGoes only to you. Never shared. No response needed.
- Waits until 9 a.m. and reaches you first. You have four hours to tap I’m good, up to three pauses for the same pattern.
- No responseAfter four hours, or once pauses run out, your connections get an update. Nobody hears before 1 p.m.
- Any timeTap I need a hand and your connections hear right away, even during quiet hours.
- Phone goes quietAfter more than 24 hours with no signal, LOWKEY checks with you first. No answer in four hours, and your connections get an update that LOWKEY hasn’t heard from your phone. It could be a dead battery, a digital detox, or something else. They decide what to do next.
LOWKEY is not a crisis or emergency service.
Inside the app
Three screens. One story.

Your sky
You and everyone who chose to connect with you, in one calm view. Stars and Planets change color as patterns change. Lanterns keep their warm glow.
What you see
Your actual number next to your usual range. The graph shows the shape of the change, and the insight says it plainly, without guessing why.
Then a real conversation
A status update or a private message, inside LOWKEY. The app gives the prompt; people choose the words.
What the symbols mean
- Star, a mutual connection. You look out for each other. You both get updates and see each other’s colors.
- Planet, a one-way connection. You look out for them. You see their colors, and your status stays private.
- Lantern, a one-way connection. They look out for you. They see your colors and get your updates. You don’t see their data, so a Lantern keeps its warm glow and never changes color.
What the colors mean
- Blue, In range. Within usual range.
- Violet, Heads Up. A small shift from usual.
- Teal, Check In. A clear change from usual.
- Pink, Be There. A big change on day 1; a change that keeps going after that.
- Gray, No signal. Not enough information to compare yet.
A dim Star or Planet means their last update is more than a day old. Color shows how far someone’s days are from their usual, never who they are.
What a shift might look like
LOWKEY notices the change. You and your connections bring the meaning.
